State-Space Unlearning for Non-Stationary Bias in Land Surface Forecasting

This paper introduces SSU-LSF, a machine-unlearning framework designed to address non-stationary bias in land surface forecasting systems using Mamba-family Structured State Space Models. The method employs influence functions, spectral-radius-weighted thresholding, and Hessian-free optimization with spatial regularization to reduce confounding effects in predictions of NDVI, LST, and crop phenology.
