Context Injection and Long-Horizon Reliability: Separating Duplicate Recognition, Local Processing, and Counter Tracking

The study evaluates three components of a 400-step task using the Qwen3-8B model, including duplicate recognition, local processing, and counter tracking. It was found that duplicate recognition errors increase towards the end of the task, while the counter operates without errors for 8,000 steps.
