Harness Engineering for Software Engineering via Modular Executable Dev-Primitives

This paper introduces Dev-Primitives, a modular and executable abstraction that turns software artifacts into active participants in software engineering tasks. The HERMES framework uses these primitives with a dynamic activation mechanism and bug diagnosis to improve performance in software engineering benchmarks.
