ALIVE: Interaction-Aligned Object Insertion for First-Frame-Guided Video Editing

ALIVE is a framework for inserting objects into videos so they interact naturally with the existing content, using an edited first frame and an object name. It improves object insertion by 43.9% and 4.4% on two benchmarks compared to the strongest baseline, with further improvements when using a vision-language model for guidance.
