Faking Good and Faking Bad in LLMs: Response Distortion Across Dark Triad Personality Traits

This study explores how Large Language Models (LLMs) respond to fake-good and fake-bad conditions by modulating the expression of Dark Triad traits (Machiavellianism, narcissism, and psychopathy). Seven models were tested in employment and forensic contexts, showing systematic shifts in trait expression based on situational framing and explicit instructions.
