Enhancing Generalization in Endwall Film Cooling Prediction: Integrating the Superposition Principle into Transformer-Based Neural Operators

This study introduces a physics-enhanced neural operator framework called SDNO to improve the generalization of endwall film cooling prediction. The model uses a two-stage approach, first predicting temperature fields for sub-parts of the turbine endwall and then combining these predictions using a neural operator network. The method employs a signed distance function to encode cooling hole locations and demonstrates strong generalization capabilities for unseen configurations.
